How long will it take to get a response?

We review all demo submissions within 24 to 48 hours. Every submission gets listened to by our A&R team personally. If your demo progresses to the next stage, you will hear from us directly via email.
Can I submit a remix or cover track?

We only accept original music. Remixes and covers involve third-party copyright which complicates distribution and signing. Please submit only music you have fully written and own the rights to.
What if my track is not finished yet?

Please submit your best, most complete work. An unfinished track makes it difficult to evaluate your full potential. A rough mix that clearly shows your direction and sound can work — just mention that it's a rough cut in your bio.
Can I submit music from any genre?

Yes — TIR accepts all genres. Hip Hop, Trap, UK Drill, Lo-Fi, R&B, Nasheed, Devotional, Electronic, Folk, Instrumental and more. We value quality and authenticity over genre trends.
Can I submit if I am already signed to another label?

If you are under an exclusive contract with another label, we cannot sign you until that contract ends. You are still welcome to submit — we can discuss what is possible when your contract expires.
Do I need to upload a file or just share a link?

Just share a link. No file upload is required. You can share a Google Drive link, Spotify profile, YouTube video, SoundCloud track, or any platform where we can listen to your music.
Is there any fee to submit?

Absolutely not. Submitting a demo to The Imaginary Records is completely and always free. We will never charge you to be heard.
What are the royalty terms if I get signed?

Artists signed to TIR receive 85% of all net royalties. TIR retains 15% as a label distribution fee. You keep 100% ownership of your masters. Full terms are transparently discussed before any agreement is signed.
